One of the four pillars on which Flowood has built its economic development is retail business — creating a friendly environment for local businesses, that in turn creates a shopping hub with a wide variety of goods and services available to both Flowood’s own residents and shoppers from around the Metro area. From our beautiful large malls to dozens of standalone retailers, Flowood boasts over two million square feet of retail space!

The largest shopping attraction in Flowood is the ‘Dogwood District’ at the intersection of Old Fannin Road, Lakeland Drive (MS Highway 25) and the East Metro Parkway. The quartet of Dogwood Festival Market, Dogwood Promenade, Lakeland Commons and Market Street malls form the foundation of the four corners, with plenty of smaller shops in the surrounding area.

But those large malls aren’t all Flowood has to offer. The seven miles of Lakeland Drive running from the Pearl River to Grant’s Ferry Road is full of shopping options, from locally owned businesses and boutiques to major national chains to one of the biggest car dealerships in the area.
